- Instructions:
- Heat the olive oil (if using) in a pot. Add the carrots and lentils.
- Add the vegetable broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until lentils are soft.

5. Carrot “Fries” (for babies around +10 months a baked, softer version of sticks):
- Ingredients: 2-3 large carrots, peeled and cut into thick sticks. Olive oil (optional).
- Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss the carrot sticks with a little olive oil (optional).
- Arrange the sticks on a baking sheet, ensuring they aren’t overcrowded.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until very soft and easily gummed.
